‘Our aim is to assist in making your visit to Filey enjoyable and memorable’

Some suggestions to make your stay as memorable as possible: -

  1. Take care with the tide. If you want to access the beach or Filey Brigg remember both are covered at high tide. It is easy to get cut off by the tide on Filey Brigg and there is no safe way up the cliffs. If you are stuck phone 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
  2. The lifeboat house is normally open for visitors during the day. If you have a large party, please contact Filey Lifeboat Station beforehand.
  3. Filey Museum is small and needs warning of a large party. Phone 01723 515013 or email contact@fileymuseum.co.uk
  4. Parties wishing for a wildlife walk, rock pool walk, or a fossil walk (or anything else, just ask) contact Will Watts at Hidden Horizons. Please tell him you got the contact from us
